Blackhawk is the largest public use facility in Pool 9 of the mighty Mississippi and offers a choice of single, double and pull through campsites with electrical hookups. Many sites are located along the shoreline and provide a picturesque view of the Mississippi River. A camping fee is required. Coin-operated showers, playgrounds, a sandy beach, toilets, drinking water and a sanitary dump station are also available.

Fishing is open to the public along any part of Blackhawk's shoreline. A fishing dock is available to the mobility impaired. There are two boat launching ramps that give access to the Mississippi's main channel. Courtesy docks and fish cleaning stations are also provided.

Blackhawk General Store has a variety of products and services available.  We offer Live Bait, Fishing Tackle, Cold Beer, Wine, Soda, Snacks, Ice, Ice Cream, Firewood, Camping Supplies, Marine Supplies,  Custom Rods, River Maps, Etc.  Our services include Boat Dock Rental, Fishing and Hunting Licenses, Boat, ATV and Snowmobile Registrations, Guide Services, and much more.
